Batteries are accepted at Logan Landfill & Bozeman Convenience Site during regular hours. By recycling batteries, we can capture resources for remanufacture and prevent landfill fires.

Please tape all terminals of all batteries.  Keep alkaline batteries separate from lithium-ion batteries.  If a lithium battery or a device with a lithium battery is swollen or bulging, place the device or battery in a container with kitty litter or a plastic sealable bag and take it to Logan Landfill or Bozeman Convenience Site.  Do not remove a swollen battery from a device.

Acceptable dry cell batteries include:

• Alkaline
• Lithium & Lithium-Ion
• Nickel-Cadmium
• Nickel Metal Hydride
• Iron
• Zinc Carbon
• Silver

Also acceptable:
AA, AAA, C, D, Lantern, 9-Volt, Automotive
