Batteries
Batteries are accepted at Logan Landfill & Bozeman Convenience Site during regular hours, and at the HHW Collection (2nd Saturday of each month at the BCS). By recycling batteries, we can capture resources for remanufacture and prevent landfill fires.
Please place tape over both ends of all batteries. Keep alkaline batteries separate from lithium-ion batteries. If a lithium battery or a device with a lithium battery is swollen or bulging, place the device or battery in a box with kitty litter and take it to Logan Landfill or Bozeman Convenience Site. Do not remove a swollen battery from a device.
